Between 1 and 3 October Péter Polt, the Prosecutor General of Hungary paid an official visit to Slovenia.
On 16 August 2018 Miloš Bizjak, State Secretary at the Slovenian Ministry of Defence decorated Lt. Col. Andrea Gombos, the outgoing non-resident Regional Defence, Military and Air attaché of the Embassy of Hungary in Ljubljana with the Medal of International Cooperation.

Between 15 and 21 April 2018 artists from Hungary and twelve other countries took part in the „Art Circle – Art Embassy” art workshop held in Goriška Brda.
On 13 March the Hungarian national community in Slovenia celebrated the anniversary of the revolution of 1848-49. In honour of the holiday, a wreath laying ceremony was held next to the Lajos Batthyány statute at the Ljubljana Castle, followed by a reception at the Ambassador’s residence.

On 18 January 2018 our Embassy, the DigitalSlovenia digital coalition and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia organised the „DigitalVisegrad 4 Europe” Hungarian-Slovenian joint business conference in Ljubljana.
