Ambassador Visits National Council
On 1 August Ambassador Edit Szilágyiné Bátorfi paid a visit to the President of the National Council of the Republic of Slovenia Mr. Alojz Kovšca.
“Art Circle – Art Embassy” art workshop in Goriška Brda
Between 15 and 21 April 2018 artists from Hungary and twelve other countries took part in the „Art Circle – Art Embassy” art workshop held in Goriška Brda.
March 15 Celebrations in Ljubljana
On 13 March the Hungarian national community in Slovenia celebrated the anniversary of the revolution of 1848-49. In honour of the holiday, a wreath laying ceremony was held next to the Lajos Batthyány statute at the Ljubljana Castle, followed by a reception at the Ambassador’s residence.
Ambassador's Visit to Ribnica
On 29 January 2018 Ambassador Edit Szilágyiné Bátorfi paid a visit to the town of Ribnica where she met with the Mayor Mr. Jože Levstek.
Hungarian Culture Day Concert
On 22 January 2018 our Embassy in cooperation with Cankarjev dom and the Big Band RTV Slovenija organised a concert in honour of the Hungarian Culture Day and the second anniversary of the opening of the Balassi Institute in Ljubljana.
