On September 30th 2021 Ambassador Andor Dávid attended a sacral concert of the Slovenian Philharmonic Choir conducted by Hungarian conductor Béni Cillag at the Lendava Parish Church.

As the event’s honorary patron the Ambassador welcomed the concert’s attendees, stressing that the concert was aimed at attracting the faithful who meet the PCT condition (Recovered/Vaccinated/Tested) back to the church during these difficult times caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. The Ambassador also presented the Hungarian Government’s efforts to build or renew churches in Hungary and abroad, stressing that the Parish Church of Saint Catherine in Lendava was also being renovated with the support of the Hungarian Government. During the concert the exhibition titled Hungarian Catholic Presence in the World, which was prepared on the occasion of the International Eucharistic Congress in Budapest, was also put on display.
