On 20 November 2017, Ambassador Edit Szilágyiné Bátorfi hosted a breakfast at her residence in order to present the program of the 2017-2018 Hungarian Presidency of the Visegrad Group to the members of the Slovenian press.

The program was presented by the Ambassador and Ms Krisztina Varju, Ministerial Commissioner at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, responsible for the implementation of Hungary’s V4 Presidency. The Ambassador gave a short overview of the history and the forms of cooperation between the Visegrad countries and talked about the V4 events, which took place in Slovenia so far, as well as the events the Embassy plans to organize in the future. The Ministerial Commissioner presented the presidency’s priorities with special emphasis on the cooperation between Slovenia and the V4 Group. The official presentation was followed by a Q&A session. The breakfast was attended by representatives of the biggest Slovenian media outlets.
