On the 23rd of March 2017 our Embassy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary organised the “Together in Africa” Slovenian-Hungarian joint business conference in Ljubljana.
The event which focused on possible financing mechanisms for doing business together in Africa both at the national level and in the framework of the European Development Fund was attended by almost 50 Slovenian and Hungarian companies. The conference was organized with the assistance of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The plenary session was attended by representatives of the Slovenian SID Bank and the Hungarian EXIM Bank, among others and was followed by numerous B2B and B2G workshops offering Slovenian and Hungarian companies interested in the African market and operating in the sectors of energy, ICT, water treatment, agriculture, construction and healthcare an opportunity to network.
