On the 15th of February 2017 Ambassador Edit Szilágyiné Bátorfi visited the city of Novo mesto where she met with the city’s Mayor Mr Gregor Macedoni. She also paid a visit to the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and the most important local companies (Krka, Adria, Revoz).
The Ambassador and the Mayor talked about the possibilities of economic cooperation between local and Hungarian companies, highlighting the pharmaceutical and the automotive industry. They also discussed the existing cooperation between the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and the University of Dunaújváros. Since this year marks the Year of Amber, one of the treasures of Novo mesto’s archaeological heritage they also touched upon topics relating to archaeological cooperation.
