The celebration took place in Cankarjev dom and started with a concert of the Pannon Philharmonic and award-winning Hungarian pianist Gergely Bogányi. Before the concert Ambassador Edit Szilágyiné Bátorfi gave an opening speech, followed by the speeches of keynote speakers Mr Ferenc Hajós, former Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Hungary, and Mr István Íjgyártó, Minister of State for Cultural and Science Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary. The evening ended with a reception.
