On the 14th of November 2016 Ambassador Edit Szilágyiné Bátorfi paid an official visit to Nova Gorica.
The Ambassador met with Nova Gorica Mayor Mr Matej Arčon, as well as the Rector of the University of Nova Gorica Dr Danilo Zavrtanik before visiting the Nova Gorica regional museum. She also held talks with Nevenka Volk Rožič, the Director of the Northern Primorska Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and met with representatives of the most important local business companies.
