On November 20 2025, our Embassy organized a business conference titled Future of the Labour Market – Trends and Prospects in Slovenia and Central and Eastern Europe.
The conference, which took place in Ljubljana focused on the technological and demographic challenges of the Central and Eastern European labour market, artificial intelligence and green transition, as well questions regarding the import of foreign workers. Slovenian and Hungarian government representatives, business leaders, and researchers gave presentations and participated in panel discussions, sharing their experiences and good practices related to addressing and preventing regional labour market challenges.
