On 13 March 2025, to mark the anniversary of the 1848-49 revolution and war of independence, our Embassy organized a wreath-laying ceremony at the memorial plaque dedicated to Count Lajos Batthyány found at the Ljubljana Castle. After the ceremony, Ambassador Andor Ferenc Dávid hosted a reception for members of the Hungarian national community living in Slovenia at the renovated Liszt Institute in Ljubljana.
