On 29 September 2022, our Embassy organized the fourth meeting of the Hungarian Business Club, which meets every two months.
The Club is comprised of Hungarian businessmen, who fill leading positions in Slovenian companies operating in the field of banking, insurance, logistics and commerce or are carrying out investments in Slovenia and therefore play an important role in the promotion of Hungarian-Slovenian business relations. The event’s guest of honor was Prof. Dr. Matej Lahovnik, Professor at the School of Economics and Business of the University of Ljubljana and former Minister of the Economy. Professor Lahovnik is a great expert on Slovenian economy and is currently active as an advisor to the Government. He offered an insight into the challenges faced by the Slovenian economy, as well as answered questions posed by the Hungarian businessmen.
