On 3 February 2022, in accordance with the Covid-restrictions currently in force, our Embassy organized this year’s first meeting of the Hungarian Business Club, revived in the last year.
The Hungarian businessmen who took part in the meeting fill leading positions in some of the most important Slovenian companies operating in the field of banking, insurance, logistics and commerce or are carrying out investments in Slovenia and therefore play an important role in the promotion of Hungarian-Slovenian business relations. The event’s guest of honor was Mr. Iztok Seljak, Chief Managing Director of the biggest Slovenian investor in Hungary, the Hidria Group and Honorary Consul of Hungary based in Koper. Mr. Seljak offered a comprehensive overview of the current state of Slovenian economy, as well as answered questions posed by the Hungarian businessmen.
