On the 27th of September 2017 a Hungarian-Slovenian business conference was held in the Hungarian town of Vonyarcvashegy.

The conference, organised in the framework of the Slovenian Association of Female Managers’ (FAM) September meeting, was attended by Ambassador Edit Szilágyiné Bátorfi, as well as the Slovenian Ambassador in Budapest Mr. Robert Kokalj, State Secretary at the Slovenian Ministry of Economic Development and Technology Ms. Eva Štravs Podlogar, the President of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ms. Mária Tényiné Stark and the Head of the Foreign Trade Department at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Ms. Rita Szép-Tüske. The conference attendees were acquainted with the economic situation in both countries and discussed unused opportunities in tourism and the role of women in agriculture. The lectures were followed by B2B meetings and an impromptu market.
