On 8 December 2021, Mr. Tamás Kovács, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. and Mr. Gábor Bakos, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Hungary in Ljubljana attended the farewell ceremony of the Hungarian and Czech police contingents that took part in the protection of the Slovenian-Croatian Schengen external border against illegal migration since early summer 2021.
Božo Predalič, State Secretary of the Slovenian Ministry of Interior thanked the Member States participating in the protection of the Schengen external borders for their solidarity and immediate assistance and praised their effective contribution to the fight against illegal migration.
