On July 2 2024, the Embassy of Hungary in Ljubljana organised a classical music concert at the Ljubljana City Museum to mark the start of the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The concert, which featured a performance by Hungarian pianist Beáta Ilona Barcza and Slovenian violinist Gal Juvan was attended by members of the local diplomatic corps, Slovenian politicians, representatives of Slovenian state authorities, as well as members of the local Hungarian community. The concert, highlighting the works of European composers was supported by the MOL – Új Európa Alapítvány foundation, and the interactive visual elements were provided by the Visual Europe Group.
