On 11 December 2024, as part of the “Discover EU” series of events organized by the EU House in Ljubljana, we held the “Visionary Hungarians” exhibition presenting Hungarian inventors and their inventions. The exhibition which was first organized by the Hungarian Embassy in Stockholm, was complemented by workshops provided by the House of Experiments and the Rubik Club, and was attended by Slovenian school groups, as well as representatives of universities and research institutions. The day’s closing event which was also the official closing event of the Hungarian EU Presidency in Ljubljana was a concert by pianist Zoltán Thurzó, held at the National Museum of Contemporary History and featuring works by European composers. It was attended by leading Slovenian politicians, businessmen, representatives of culture and members of the diplomatic corps.
