In the framework of the conference series on the Future of Europe, Our Embassy and the Nova univerza Slovenian university organized a V4 + Slovenia roundtable discussion on 10 November 2021 in Ljubljana, with the participation of Balázs Orbán, Deputy Minister at the Office of the Hungarian Prime Minister, Igor Senčar, State Secretary for Coordination of International and EU Affairs at the Office of the Slovenian Prime Minister and prominent think tank leaders from the V4 countries.
Our event was based on the leader’s panel on the Future of Europe organized at the Bled Strategic Forum in September 2021. The participants of the roundtable discussion reviewed the Central European region’s historical perception of Europe and European integration, the importance of the constitutional heritage of the EU member states, as well as the issues related to the possibilities of strategic autonomy of the European Union.
