Colonel László Kaputa, Defence, Military and Air Attaché and Mr. Gábor Bakos, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Hungary in Ljubljana paid a site visit to the Brežice Police Station on 1 December 2021 to discuss current topics related to illegal migration. They were received by Police Captain Martin Špiler, Deputy Commander of the Brežice Police Station, and Police Captain Róbert Lesku, Commander of the Hungarian police contingent that contributes to the protection of the Slovenian-Croatian Schengen external border against illegal migration. In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Hungarian National Police Headquarters (ORFK) and the General Police Directorate of the Republic of Slovenia, Hungary contributes to the protection of the Slovenian-Croatian border since 21 June 2021.
