On Sunday, the 9th of July 2017, an army band concert took place in Kobarid as part of the First World War centenary celebrations.
The patron of the concert titled “Farewell to Arms” was the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Borut Pahor. The concert featured performances by army bands from Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Germany and Slovenia. Hungary was represented by the Kaposvári Helyőrségi Zenekar band, which gave a very successful solo concert in Bovec the day before.
