On the 26th of August 2017 the 55th International Fair of Agriculture and Food (AGRA) opened in Gornja Radgona. The fair was attended by the Hungarian Minister of Agriculture, Mr Sándor Fazekas, as well as Ambassador Edit Szilágyiné Bátorfi.

The Minister said Hungary was one of the biggest exhibitors at the fair, since Slovenia is not only a friendly neighbouring country, but also an important trading partner.

Nearly 20 Hungarian companies and entrepreneurs are taking part in the fair. Their participation was organised by the Hungarian National Trading House and the Agrár Marketing Centrum. The products exhibited by Hungarian companies include grain and seed cleaners, agricultural machinery, brandy distillers and countertop grain mills. The partner country of this year’s AGRA is China.
