Between 19 and 20 October János Áder, the President of the Republic of Hungary, paid a two-day visit to Slovenia.

Durint the visit he met with President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia Dejan Židan and the representatives of the Hungarian national minority in Prekmurje, before visiting World War I memorial places in the Soča valley connected to Hungarian history. The Presidents also attended the national day reception organized by our Embassy and addressed the guests. The Hungarian-Slovenian relations are based on mutual trust and are friendly.
