To mark the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Caporetto, the Kobarid Museum, in cooperation with the Tolmin Municipality and several Slovenian and foreign historical societies, organised a historical re-enactment of the famous battle.
The re-enactment, organised at the initiative of the Triglav Cultural-Historical Society, took place on the 17th of September 2017 on the Kolovrat hill. Despite the bad weather, several thousand people attended the event, among them many Hungarians, including representatives of the Hungarian Defence Ministry and our Embassy.
